A true throwback to one of surfings golden eras, the Retro Twin by Mark Richards is a faithful recreation of MRs magic contest board from 1980 the same design that carried him to victories at the Gunston 500 and Hang Ten International.

Shaped originally at 6’2″ 20″ 2 1/4″, the retro twin features a lot of forward area in the outline, making it an absolute dream to paddle and catch waves early. The classic wing-swallow tail design reduces tail width to add hold and control through turns, balancing the twin fins natural speed and freedom with more drive and bite when you push the rail.

Underneath, a deep V-bottom helps the board transition smoothly from rail to rail, delivering that effortless flowing feel that defines the retro twin experience. Paired with a classic retro rocker and hard rails running nose to tail, the retro twin stays true to its roots while offering an incredibly fun and accessible ride across a wide range of wave types.
