The popular Ace Foil board has been incorporated into the inflatable range for the most compact and travel-convenient SUP downwind foiling experience.

The Ace Air Foil features our patented top plate design for direct flight responsiveness and ultimate rider sensation when on foil. Weve also upgraded it to the carbon plate, which is up to 2.4kg lighter than its aluminium predecessor.

This board is also a fantastic crossover board for wingfoiling, both in the low and the high end. The boards high nose and tail rocker combined with the narrow yet long outlines result in easy and early takeoffs and forgiving touchdowns.

The Ace Air Foil range features 2 sizes from 100 to 120 litres which cover diverse rider sizes, skill and condition requirements.
Only available in a Carbon top plate version to maximize the lightweight performance of the range.

THE LEGACY, REBORN

The famous Ace raceboard from Starboard was an industry first design that reimagined the downwind raceboard design. First produced as a 126 SUP Race board and debuting at the Battle of the Paddle in 2009, the ACE was available in many iterations and sizes from 126 140 models between 2009 2021.
It has evolved once again and been reborn, now as an inflatable downwind board.

WELDED RAIL TECHNOLOGY

Every Starboard inflatable board features welded rails. The Welded Rail Technology creates a completely airtight, mechanically bonded seam without the risk of glue weakening over time. This makes Starboard inflatable foil boards stronger and longer lasting.

NEWPATENTED PLATE TECHNOLOGY

Distance between the feet and the foil is less than 1.5 cm.
Direct response, more control and better flight sensation.
No more wobbly sensations in the interaction between the rider and the foil.

ADJUSTABLE FOOTSTRAPS

Because there is 18cm distance between the inserts, it allows you to have a wider footstrap span for better trim and control while foiling since you can micro-adjust your feets position.
4 different positions for the footstraps in the front and 5 different positions for the strap in the back are available.

NEWACE OUTLINE

The teardrop outline is the most efficient outline, offering even volume and a stable shape.

NEWNARROW WIDTH

Designed for speed downwind and early takeoff. The aim of the Ace Foil is to offer a super-fast accelerating board to quickly catch bumps and accelerate quickly onto foil. The Ace Foil model is available in narrow sizes from 19 up to 23.

NEWPIN TAIL

Tracking and efficiency are two key aspects of the pintail design. The pin tail offers great tracking for catching bumps, while the pin tail also brings the water back together, allowing a more efficient takeoff and touchdown with less board touching the water.

NEWROCKER

The rocker is fine-tuned for speed, spring, and larger bumps. The rockerline has been optimised for performance in a range of conditions, from flatwater to large ocean swell.

EDGE RELEASE

Starboards Rail Edge invention improves planing before taking off. A proprietary 3D elastomer compound Rail Edge runs along the rails of the board, creating a defined edge that allows for a clean water release and improved take-off speed, yet can fold and roll up.

For a flush finish at foil mount cavity to improve the water & airflow on the underside of board.
