“Gut that fish” – the all new modern retroactive Twin/Quad Fang uses progressive rocker & deep heavy concaves for a board that gets up on plane, and holds a rail through full-speed carves like none before it. I’ve literally gutted the belly of the beast so she has more efficient water flow, making her speedy as all get out with no lack of fast-twitch muscle fiber rail response. Go on, and manhandle the baby. Other features include 80s style flat deck to pack on the liters combined with sloped, downrails and hard edges to knife your corners at zip-stitch top velocity. Nose features a subtle beaky buzzard.
This board combines a modernized, sleeked up retro fish outline with a progressive rocker and one-of-a-kind freaky hull contours. Glide or gouge, float or carve, crouch low with five on the nose, or stand tall and arch the back.
**We also still offer Todd’s more traditional retro fish whichincorporates aversatile rocker and hull contours on atraditional fish outline. Utilizing a subtle increase in rocker from nose to tail, and slightly deeper single to double concaves, with a touch less spiral vee running off the tail; this board has quickly become a new favorite for speedy fish enthusiasts who wish to find a new dynamic responsiveness through turns. Theyre back cause theyre fast. This is an updated version of the original Fish design. Ive incorporated a modernized single-to-double concave-to-accelerated spiral vee bottom, and blended it with the original retro outline, rocker, and thickness flowwhy? for the enjoyment of hair-raising speed runs. Check out the website to watch streaming video of this twinny fanging its way through the lineup.
Also available with quad setup.By adding another fin over on your rail, you increase the leverage placed on your fins when going into a turn; this equates to more drive and more speed when you put this puppy into drive a beautiful thing.
Ideal conditions: ankle high to shoulder high weak waves.
