Protective Gear (Surf) – Gath Surf Convertible Helmet – Carbon

The Gath Surf Convertible Helmet is based off the original Gath Pro Surf Helmet, but with the addition of removable ears. This accomplishes a couple things. 1st The ears are removable for those who dont like to have their ears covered can take them off, ans also the ear pieces are more flexible than the original full shell design so it can fit people with wider jaw lines more easily which makes fitting the helmet easier.

They offer full head coverage, which is much more than most other brands while also allowing an unhindered field of vision and full range of motion. They dont measure up against helmets the way DOT measures helmet strength, but they do a much better job in real world applications. Their rounded shell is able to deflect blows more readily than a larger helmet, the extremely low profile design prevents dragging or snagging on water or other objects, and the fit system actually connects the liner to the users head so that it does not move around on your head.
