The Mod Fish perfectly bridges the gap between a midlength and shortboard. The overall stability and feel is reassuring. Fishes are wide with a full nose, creating fast paddling and stability great for catching waves and generating speed on the wave.
When ridden shorter than a midlength they offer much better maneuverability. The tail plan shape and double concave allow tighter turning for vertical surfing and cutbacks into the pocket. The Mod Fish is great in most types of waves and conditions, from knee high wind slop to sloppy head high tubes.
TET Torq Epoxy Technology
Torq’s TET construction has changed how surfboards could be made, using Biaxial cloth and epoxy resin in precision cut molds CNCd from a block of aluminum. Its a super lean, super accurate process extremely low waste and powered by solar energy.
Built in TET construction means, these are extremely strong and durable, designed to withstand impacts in and out of the water, while still being light.
